Andreana hails from the heart of the "BIG 203" in New Haven, Connecticut, but her upbringing was shaped in the close-knit community of West Haven.
Athletics have been a defining aspect of her life since childhood. She started with soccer at five, but at seven, she found her true passion in basketball, realizing early on that a ballerina's life wasn't in the cards. Her talent on the court earned her a scholarship offer from Boston College as early as the 8th grade. Throughout high school, she dominated, clinching three state championships in her sophomore, junior, and senior years. Despite multiple offers from prestigious institutions, she ultimately chose Hofstra University.
Following her graduation, she extended her collegiate career by one more year at the University of Vermont while pursuing her master's degree. In 2016, she made the decision to remain in the United States and begin her professional journey in education. Currently, Andreana serves as the Director of Positive Youth Development for the New Mexico Black Leadership Council, where her passion lies in working with youth, particularly those from minority backgrounds.
During her leisure time, Andreana enjoys engaging in physical activities, embarking on adventures to different states and countries, and broadening her knowledge across various fields.
