Larry Morinia and Nathan Wallace establish the Crown the Kingz League in 2023. The league's genesis can be traced back to a bitter disappointment when their team, was unjustly denied a city league championship. In response to the dismissive challenge of the city league director "Make your own league then" they decided to do just that, and the rest is history.

With a deep belief in the talent of their community, Larry and Nathan envisioned the Crown the Kingz League as a platform for New Mexico's finest players to shine against top competition. Their goal? To forge Albuquerque's leading pro-am league, uniting the city's top teams and extending its influence to neighboring communities.

The Crown the Kingz League aims to be a catalyst for community engagement, bringing together players from local high schools, colleges, and the pros to inspire and uplift. Larry and Nathan aspire to create a lasting institution that not only raises the bar for basketball in Albuquerque but also leaves behind a legacy.
